Prehistories
People have lived here for thousands of years.
They lived, worked and died.
What can their lives tell us?
How are we the same as them?
The main Prehistories exhibition has two parts.
Two ways of getting closer to history.
Life stories
The first part looks at eight life stories from prehistoric times.
They help us to answer questions.
What did they think about life?
How did they act towards each other?
What did they think about death?
Ready for take off
The second part is the departure hall,
like in an airport.
Start out on a journey into the imagination.
There are different rooms.
Each room contains objects from the past,
like swords, jewellery and skeletons.
These objects are part of our culture.
Each room also contains a question
to think about.
Writing history
Think about history too.
Who writes history?
Are we affected by history?
You decide.
Archaeology Lab
The Archaeology Lab is a place where you can dig up
things like beads, coins and bones.
Study them in our laboratory.
It is a mini archaeological dig.
