Our textiles collection is unique.
We have many well-preserved hangings and embroideries
from the Middle Ages.

Many of the textiles were used in Swedish churches.
We also have textiles from other parts of the world.
They came to Sweden through trade.
The textiles are full of symbols.
They tell us about the time when they were made.
Studying them gives us the answers to lots of questions.
